About the Program
This presentation will examine the estate planning attorney's ethical obligations to one or both spouses who seek advice on revising the estate plan prior to or during a proceeding to terminate the marriage.  It will also address what changes may be made to a plan during a termination proceeding. Finally, it will offer suggestions for planning post-divorce, taking into account obligations to a former spouse and the protection of assets in the event of remarriage.
