The council board is very excited to present you with the attached sponsorship package for review. I hope that you will evaluate the information and select a level of support that is appropriate to you and/or your firm.
We are very excited to continue great sponsorship opportunities for the 2018-2019 season! We’ve also added a new opportunity, which is the option to sponsor an all member social this fall! We expect demand for the Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon and tax updates to continue to be in high-demand as they have been for several years. In order to be fair to all companies that are interested in sponsoring these three options, a lottery process will take place if a commitment form is received for more than one firm in the same discipline for the Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon or more than one firm for either tax update option or social. Any firm wishing to sponsor either the Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon, tax update, or social is asked to complete and return a commitment form by close of business on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 indicating interest. A conference call will take place on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 am ET, if necessary. The remainder of the sponsorships will be awarded on a first come, first confirmed basis. All other commitments are requested by Friday, August 31, 2018.
This sponsorship program is designed to assist the council in providing valuable member benefits, strong educational events and services to you – our member. The funds generated help to keep dues low and provide the outstanding programming that EPC is known for across the country! The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland board of directors remains on the cutting-edge of the estate planning council movement and will remain there with your support.
Your participation is designed to benefit the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland as described above. It is not an endorsement of a specific speaker and your sponsorship does not offer the opportunity to provide a speaker for the event of your choice. Please be aware that the sponsorship opportunities such as our monthly lunches may be secured before the designated speaker is identified. As a result, there may be a time when a presenter at one of these events works for a firm or organization that competes directly or indirectly with the sponsoring firm. We have tried very hard in the past to avoid that circumstance, and will continue to do so going forward. However, in some instances it may not be feasible to prevent it completely. We hope you understand.
