Chabot of the U.S. Tax Court, and received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, his JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and his BA from Williams College.  Prior to practice in Cleveland, he practiced in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Washington, D.C.   \n  \nProbably more to the point for today, Matt has also served for several years as Vice-President (Legislation) for the Small Business Council of America (SBCA), the voice of privately owned business in Washington on income and estate tax, benefits and health care matters.  In 2007, he testified at the invitation of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on tax relief for small businesses.  Recently (in February 2012), Matt was appointed CEO of the SBCA. \n  \n  \nReservation Policy – All attendees are encouraged to register in advance and walk-in reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis only. Meeting cost is $20 for members of either organization when paid in advance before noon 03/12/12.   Meeting cost is $30 for members of either organization at the door and $30 for guests. If you reserve and are unable to attend, please call the office to cancel by noon 03/12/12 to avoid a no-show reservation billing. \n  \nNew this season! Purchase a table at the monthly luncheon… $200 / six guests.(Submit names to admin@epccleveland.org by 03/12/12.) \n  \nContinuing Education – EPC Cleveland will request credit for this program from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders. In addition, a certificate of completion will be available for those CTFAs, CPAs, and CWS designees that feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements. The Tax Club of Cleveland, through an arrangement with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, will provide one hour of Continuing Legal Education credit for this meeting. \n  \nTo Reserve click "RSVP Now!" below or [download the registration ](http://councils.naepc.org//Library/Meeting Announcement 03_2012.pdf)form and return to the office.\n \nThis event is sponsored by:\n \n \n \n  \n
