DESCRIPTION:\nAbout the Program\nEstate planning continues to evolve amid new case law, expanded FinCEN oversight, sweeping charitable-giving changes under the new tax law, and the accelerating intersection of digital assets and artificial intelligence with everyday practice. This presentation reviews recent developments across each of these areas — from GRAT and QTIP litigation to Section 68's charitable deduction overhaul, from FinCEN's shifting reporting regime to AI's growing role (and risks) in professional practice — and closes with practical lessons drawn from recent celebrity estate disputes. Attendees will leave with clear, current insights to better counsel clients amid increasing complexity.\n\nAbout the Speaker\nMark R. Parthemer, JD, AEP®, ACTEC Fellow, is National Chief Wealth Strategist and Managing Director at Glenmede Trust Company, where he shapes the firm's thinking on tax, estate planning, and fiduciary matters.
