DESCRIPTION:\nPlease note the special time and location of this event.\n \nIf attending in person, breakfast and networking will start at 7:45 am & the program will start promptly at 8:20am.\n If attending virtually, the webinar session will begin at 8:20 am.\n ------\n\nAbout the Program\n Lisa Monihan just completed a two-year term as Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section.  She will share her experience and report on recent Ohio legislative developments of interest to trusts and estates professionals.  Her presentation will cover statutes which have recently been enacted, and she will highlight some of the proposals currently under consideration for future legislation. \n  \nAbout the Speaker\n M. Elizabeth (“Lisa”) Monihan is a partner in the Schnieder Smeltz Spieth Bell LLP law firm, where she co-chairs the Trusts and Estates Practice Group and she also serves on the firm’s Technology Committee.  Lisa’s practice is focused on wealth transfer planning for individuals and fiduciaries, including income, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, trust and estate administration, multi-generational family issues, retirement planning, succession planning for closely-held businesses, and charitable planning.  Lisa establishes personal, long-tern relationships with her clients, and guides them through their legal, tax, financial and family issues in their unique situations with empathy and compassion. \n \nTed Robbins, CPA, CFP® â 2023-2024 Program Chair\n \nContinuing Education – EPC Cleveland will request approval for this program from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders, from the Ohio Department of Insurance for OH Insurance CE, and from the Supreme Court of Ohio for Ohio attorneys to receive CLE credit. The website will be updated no later than one week before the program with approval status.
