DESCRIPTION:\nAbout the Program\n Today, more and more professionals are finding themselves assisting older adults.  The older adult children are not always available to assist professionals with the older adult needing help as they may be working, raising children and managing their own life responsibilities.  Whether you are concerned about an older adult’s well-being or you have already determined that your older adult client needs some assistance, this workshop will define elder care, introduce you to the key resources available to your client as well as provide tips on encouraging your client to utilize resources and accept help.\n \nAbout the Speaker\n Bridget is the Unit Leader for the Cleveland Aging Life Care Association and owner of Careplan Geriatric Care Managers.  Bridget has been practicing geriatric social work and care management for over 25 years in the Cleveland area working in in Hospitals, CCRC’s and in the home environment.  She is a licensed social worker and certified care manager.  Bridget has connected with many law firms, financial advisors and healthcare agencies forming symbiotic relationships throughout Northeast Ohio. \n \nMichael H. Novak â 2021-2022 Program Chair\n \nContinuing Education – EPC Cleveland will request approval for this program from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders. A certificate of completion will be available for those AEP®, CPA, and CWS designees who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements.  \n \nCovid-19 Information – Effective October 25, 2021, The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland requires all in-person event participants to be fully vaccinated, with proof of full vaccination required*. In addition, all attendees will be asked to wear a mask when not eating or drinking.\n \nEPC Cleveland is also working closely with the Union Club to help mitigate the risks of Covid-19 transmission. Currently, the buffet will be served by staff members wearing a mask, there will be 6 people per table, and social distancing will be encouraged.\n \nReservation Policy –\n \nIN PERSON: All attendees are encouraged to register in advance and walk-in reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis only.  The meeting cost is $32 for members when paid in advance before noon 04/11/22, $45 for members at the door, $45 for guests, and $235 for a table of six (please submit names to admin@epccleveland.org by 04/08/22).  If you reserve and are unable to attend, please call the office to cancel by noon 04/11/22 to avoid a no-show reservation billing.\n \nVIRUTAL: All attendees must register in advance.
