About the program…
Financing a college education is of extreme importance to many of your clients. And it’s a very complicated and time-consuming process that in many cases starts with completing required Federal financial aid forms. Please join us for a discussion about the FAFSA form, scholarship opportunities, and how to understand award letters.
Robert Durham is director of financial aid and scholarship services at College Now Greater Cleveland. He joined the organization in September 2008 with nearly four years of experience as a financial aid officer and counselor, first at Brown Mackie College in Cincinnati and later at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In both positions, he assisted students in the completion of financial applications and counseled students and their parents on developing strategies for financing postsecondary programs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Wright State University and a Master of Arts in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. At College Now, Bob oversees a scholarship program that awards over $2 million annually to approximately 1,500 students. In addition, Bob is responsible for College Now’s Resource Center and mentoring program.
Kittie Warshawsky, JD is Chief External Affairs Officer at College Now Greater Cleveland. Most recently, Kittie served as the executive vice president of the Milton and Tamar Maltz Family Foundation and previously served as the assistant director of endowment development at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Prior to that, Kittie worked in several capacities for Case Western Reserve University. Early in her career, Kittie was an associate in the litigation group in the Cleveland office of Thompson Hine. She received her JD from Georgetown University and her undergraduate degree from Brown University. Kittie joined College Now in May 2011 as chief external affairs officer, where she oversees resource development efforts and is a member of the Executive Team.

Reservation Policy – All attendees are encouraged to register in advance and walk-in reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis only. Meeting cost is $25 for members when paid in advance before noon 03/11/13. Meeting cost is $35 for members at the door and $30 for guests. Continuing Education – EPC Cleveland will request credit for this program from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders.
