About the program…

Much of the focus on valuation planning has been on having clients avail themselves of valuation discounts associated with lack of control, lack of marketability, and/or lack of voting rights.  This presentation will look at some situations and opportunities for valuation discounts that don’t fit the usual mold.

About the speaker…

Radd L. Riebe is a managing director in the Valuations & Financial Opinions Group in the Cleveland office of Stout Risius Ross, Inc.  His focus is on business valuation and litigation advisory services in connection with trust, estate, and private client advisory services.  His business valuation experience spans more than 30 years and encompasses a wide range of industries.  He is a Senior Member of The American Society of Appraisers, holds both a JD and MBA from Case Western Reserve University, and was named the 2014 Distinguished Estate Planner by the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland.

Reservation Policy – All attendees are encouraged to register in advance and walk-in reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis only.  Meeting cost is $25 for members when paid in advance before noon 11/10/14, $40 for members at the door, $40 for guests, and $200 for a table of six guests (please submit names to admin@epccleveland.org by 11/10/14).  If you reserve and are unable to attend, please call the office to cancel by noon 11/10/14 to avoid a no-show reservation billing.

Continuing Education – EPC Cleveland will request credit for this program from the CFP® Board of Standards for CFP® designation holders.  In addition, a certificate of completion will be available for those CTFAs, CPAs, and CWS designees who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements.
